About The Ayrshire Robin

Located on the fabulous, 5 star rated Shorefield Country Park, our 3 bedroom holiday home is in a unique, quiet spot surrounded by nature with fields and woods behind it. Only 8 minutes walk through greenery to the nearest beach, other beaches are within 10 minutes drive as is the New Forest with all of its wildlife. Our guests report sleeping very well, (the tailor made blackout curtains may help) & feeling really at home. With a breakfast bar, fully equipped kitchen, double glazing, central heating & a pebble effect fire for winter and a BBQ, outdoor seating & baskets for berry picking we have the seasons covered. Our other visitors- rabbits, owls & even the occasional badger-seem to agree. We hope you do too.

The Ayrshire Robin was excellent. Very well presented very clean everything in good working order.
The position on Shorefield Park was very good for us, quite a way from the shop, club etc. but quiet and near a footpath into the woods, the decking area and grass area behind were ideal for sitting out and barbecuing.

I have been coming to the New Forest for years with my family as we love it. You can be walking among the wild ponies, spotting donkeys in the High street at Burley or relaxing on any number of beaches within around 10 minutes drive. We even got really close to a mother and fawn on the Blackwater Arboretum Tree Trail recently. We've enjoyed kayaking on the Beaulieu River, cycling (where a herd of ponies cantered across the path ahead of us) as well as horse riding & archery (but not together!). Equally, there is an abundance of great places to eat & just 'drink in' the scenery. The New Forest is both romantic and rather magical for all ages and is a place to really get away from it all.
